Cooking oil for prevention from rust stains

In my childhood days, I found my mother cleaning door hinges with the help of cooking oils. I found this technique very clever. Until obviously I grew up (just joking). Be it any cooking oil, it can easily remove dried-on adhesives.

So, if you have to remove a chunk of stains from the carpet, tiles or ceilings. Use any cooking oil. Drop a few drops on the stain or a cloth. Rub it against the stain and you will be good to go. You can also use oil to remove sap and to keep the rust away from utensils made of steel.

Alcohol for a clean house high

Alcohol beverages like vodka and gin have been found effective in treating many stubborn stains. For example, stains on the kitchen burner, window panes, kitchen cabinets, etc. So next time if you decide to clean your kitchen. Make sure you pour yourself a glass of vodka or gin. But don’t forget to clean. After all, that was the entire purpose.
